Officers were called to the Home Court store in the 900 block of Philadephia Avenue on a report of a robbery around 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 14, police said.
Police say it began when the victim left the store and walked towards his vehicle to get a pair of shoes, police said.
As the victim unlocked his car, the male suspect is struck him in the face with his elbow, grabbed the pair of shoes, and fled the scene, according to police.
The alleged suspect is described as a Black male with a medium build, dressed in a black ski mask, a black hooded sweatshirt, a green jacket, and blue jeans, according to the newly obtained surveillance video.
